The youth ministry at First UMC seeks to provide an opportunity for youth to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ as they grow in relationship with one another. We strive to allow our youth the opportunity to discover Jesus Christ, for them to see God at work in their life, and to engage in ministry and relationships with those outside the walls of the church.

At Youth WAV we seek to:

• provide high quality youth events that provide fellowship, bible study, and worship.
• work with the youth music program of First UMC to provide high quality music and ministry opportunities for youth.
• join with youth from Albuquerque as we work together to relieve suffering and hunger.
• go on mission experiences to engage in mission projects to serve
  in whatever way God leads us. 
• attend retreats and events that help us to join with other youth in worship and faith building.
